Bio
Low Alamode is a Canadian producer, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist, having worked with groups such as, DACEY, Bankes Brothers, OK Charlie, currently based on Vancouver Island, Canada. A varied musical background has culminated in his own ever-evolving sound, melding shades of early house, soul, hiphop, punk+garage rock, along with modern R&B, into a distinguished, tastefully cultivated sonic palette.
The talents of seasoned live session artists ”The Family Band” featuring Sean Thompson (drums, The Carlines, Geoff Lundstrom, The New Souls), Brodie Calis (bass, Wet Cigarette), Douglas Liseth (guitar, Brett Smith Daniels Band), and Maddie Olmsted (keys), help to bring a tight and refined edge to the live show.
Hot off the release of the Terror EP, this current iteration of the longtime musical project is here to take the live stage and show what a collection of talented professionals can do. After several incarnations of the project, the current band lineup was filled out In November of 2024 and, after a short period of building the sound and show, came out swinging at a capacity debut event at Quazar’s Arcade. Soon after, they were asked to open for Chase Spencer at the Duke Saloon’s Thursday Throwdown.
After being asked to play Lights of Wonder at Centennial Square with Vic Locals Dead Summer, and with several singles in the works and sights set at completing a full length album, Low Alamode is just hitting its stride and has no problem holding its own along with the great music and artists that inspire them like Gary Numan, MkGee, Viagra Boys, Tame Impala, and Steve Lacy.
