Songwriters Jack Satchwell (Vocals, guitar) and Ben Marshman (guitar) formed Dysaynia in Victoria in 2023, and have become known for blending heavy riffs with shoegaze elements and strong vocals. The band’s latest single ‘Liquorice’ reflects the latest evolution of their sound, showcasing Jack’s vocal prowess on top of a solid nu metal-esque guitar riff. Bassist Steven Reid adds dynamic lines inspired by classic 90’s metal acts, while drummer Isaiah Sanchez brings the heavy beats.

We just finished recording three new singles! Our new single, ‘Liquorice,’ has been getting good reactions from fans after releasing it a few weeks ago! We also dropped our next song, ‘Pilot,’ in June, followed by the last of the three: ‘Blue Book,’ in August while we’re Band of the Month.
