Victoria Day Long Weekend!
The Zone started off our Victoria day long weekend with a live broadcast from Lumberworld. Lumberworld was hosting the 09 Vipers and U17 softball team from view royal who were holding a fundraiser BBQ to help a Ukrainian softball team get the funds to fly out and compete in the Canada cup!
Sunday we met up with our friends down the hall at the Q and held a joint broadcast. We took our shows to the 162nd Highland games and enjoyed the lovely weather. We enjoyed the watching the strength events while secretly wishing we could even lift up the weight that the guys and gals competing were casually throwing around.
Ending our long weekend off with a bang we continued the trend of hanging out with the Q and did another broadcast together this time at starlight stadium for a BC lions pre-season game. The fans came out in full support of the BC lions but unfortunately they couldn’t get the win against the Calgary stampeders with a final score of 26-16
