Pol & Jenny
The Morning Zone · weekdays 6:00–10:00 am
Pol is a mashup of Han Solo, “Handsome” Dan from Wayne’s World 2, and Hedonismbot from Futurama. We kinda think of Pol like a Chicago-style pizza: covered in cheese, stuffed with awesomeness, and deeper than you think. He loves a patio pal around, exploring the island and he keeps Jenny in line.
Jenny has proven that the West really is the best as the winner of multiple national broadcasting awards including our company’s version of a Dundy. She teaches local boxing classes, always has a ghost story, majestically runs the Band of the Month program and she keeps Pol in line.
See more from Pol & Jenny and keep them in line.
Shoutouts!
9:50 pm: Text your shoutout to Pol & Jenny at 250-475-0913 and they’ll read it out on air!!
Jeremy Baker
weekdays 10:00 am–noon
Through the magic of technomolology, legacy Zoner Jeremy Baker joins us 10:00 am–noon weekdays from his mysterious underground broadcast bunker.
Jason & Emily
Jason Lamb · weekdays noon–4:00 pm
Emily · weekdays 2:00–6:00 pm
TOGETHER · weekdays 2:00–4:00 pm
Emily is kind of like if you mixed an energy drink and a shot of pickle juice together: weird, but in a good way!
She’s ready to geek out, freak out, and giggle at your dad jokes. She is the fastest texter in the west and will gladly chat with you for ages about your pets, your favorite horror movies, and what type of coffee Dave Grohl is drinking right now.
And Jason, new to this whole sleeping-in thing, helms The Zone solo from noon–2:00p before Emily joins him from 2:00–4:00p for cohost chaos!
Listen for his extensive musical knowledge, local punk history, and technical errors which are definitely not his fault. Also, didja know he wrote a book about NoMeansNo?
3:00 pm: A song that still lives in the vast music library of the 20-year history of the Zone @ 91-3, but that isn’t in regular rotation! Check out the Vault . . . Vault!
Ashley Grace
The Weekend Zone · 10:00 am–4:00 pm
Ashley reigns from the North Pole, so she is very happy to be living in Canada’s Mexico!
She loves getting a Starbies and going for a long walk with her husband and pup. Otherwise, you can find her in her natural habitat: curled up on the couch ready for a cozy movie night in!
During The Weekend Zone, she hosts on-air trivia for no prizes! So come for the brain workout, and stay for the music, ’cause . . . no prizes.
Kirsten James
She’s on maternity leave!
Kirsten is a music-mad mom who between diapers and podcasts keeps you company in the Midday Zone. These ARE The Zoners we’re looking for!
A self described chaotic-good character, Kirsten can be found bending the rules of contests and accidently breaking the text line or maybe squeezing in an extra request for a Zoner.

Dylan & Jason
Weekdays 6:00–10:00 am
What would happen if you put a genius and a comedian in the same room for 4 hours everyday? We found out for many years while Dylan & Jason hosted The Morning Zone. And hey, despite how it may have sounded, Dylan & Jason actually do like each other.
With Dylan’s recent departure from The Zone, The Morning Zone continues while we see what the future holds. 💗
webmeister Bud
Resident Geek
Some say that when he sleeps, his snores sound like a dial-up modem.
Some say the only way to defeat him is ↑, ↑, ↓, ↓, ←, →, ←, →, B, A, Start.
All we know is he’s webmeister Bud! You’ve probably seen him out and about capturing photos, designing busboards, or feverishly researching topics for Bud’s Weekly Geek-out.
What keeps him geeking every single day?
Sugar. It’s sugar. 🍬🍭
Bud's Weekly Geek-Out
Wednesdays at 7:20 am: Bud’s Weekly Geek-Out with Dylan and Jason in The Morning Zone, our resident geek, webmeister Bud, talks about useful (or not useful) websites, cool gadgets, trends and memes, the latest adorable cat videos, and whatever has the internet and tech world all aflutter.

TOP 21 COUNTDOWN
Saturdays 8:00–10:00 am & 10:00 pm–midnight
Sundays 6:00–8:00 am.
ANY radio station can do a top 20 countdown. It takes a really, erm, special radio station to host a top 21.
Each weekend, Pol Plastino counts down the top 21 tunes of the week.
THE INBOX
The Zone’s inbox, a new song every day! Hear it weekdays at 9:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm & 7:30.

ALAN CROSS
Sundays at 9am & 9pm Ongoing History of New Music with Alan Cross. Each week, the show looks at something from the alt-rock universe, from artist profiles to various thematic explorations.
Whatever the episode, you’re definitely going to learn something that you might not find anywhere else. Trust us on this.
SUSAN KNIGHT
The Promotion Department, AKA the free stuff department, is headed by Susan, and sometimes she jumps in to cover an on-air shift as well! Were she a cookie recipe, it would go a little something like this:
- 1 cup curiosity
- 1/2 cup laughter
- 1/4 cup constant underlying confusion
- and a sprinkle of chocolate chips – but the unsweetened ones.
This doesn’t mean that we’re giving away cookies anytime soon, but never say never.
MARK (mike?) ADDAMS
Mark is The Program Director of The Zone. His neighbour thinks his name is Mike, which should have been corrected 8 years ago when the neighbour moved in. It’s too late to correct him now. Mark (or Mike if you live next door to him) was the first ever announcer on The Zone and it was swiftly decided this person should be doing things behind the scenes. So Mark (or Mike if you live next door to him) is helping out where he can and letting people call him whatever they think his name is without correction.
