FUN HEADING HERE!
The U7 Islanders had a booming BBQ and bottle drive to raise money for team expenses like traveling for games, equipment, and more. When I got there, they already had around 10 bags filled with bottles, and all the kids were hard at work sorting them. It was a ton of fun hanging out with everyone, enjoying hot dogs, and counting bottles. Good luck in your upcoming games, U7 Islanders!
The Victoria Humane Society held their first bottle drive of the year, and while everyone did their best to keep track of the bottles, some adorable fluffy friends made it a bit of a challenge. The energy was great, and there were plenty of smiles all around. All in all, it was a fantastic time supporting a great cause!
The Zone Rangers went down to Odd Burger this week for VegFest. VegFest is an annual festival that celebrates being vegan, trying new foods, and more. There was face painting, hanging out, free vegan ice cream, and 20% of all sales were donated to A Home for Hooves Farm Sanctuary. We had a blast trying some new, delicious vegan foods!

A few Zone staff members will be doing naked bungee jumping on February 28th – come out and show your support!
