Joey Poljanowski has made his first move since being hired as Vice President of Hockey Operations of the Victoria Royals.
With the need to cut down their 2003 born group from 7 to 3, Victoria sent forward Teague Patton to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2026.
Patton was one of the few who played all 68 games for the Royals last season, and was second in team scoring with 16 goals and added 33 assists for 49 points.
Before his time in Victoria, Patton suited up in 78 games for the Medicine Hat Tigers between 2020-2022. He originally signed with the Tigers following his appearance at their 2019 training camp.
“Teague brings healthy competition to our lineup,” said Silvertips general manager/head coach Dennis Williams in their presser.
“He’s had individual success in Victoria and has been in a leadership role. We were looking to add another 20-year-old to elevate our upcoming camp and provide good, healthy competition. Teague has a good opportunity to step in grow with our team.”
The move leaves the club with 6 overagers, forwards Grady Lane, Justin Lies who were recently acquired, returnees in Matthew Hodson, defenseman Gannon Laroque, Luke Rybinski and netminder Braden Holt.
