In a new Nintendo Direct (Nintendo’s released-every-so-often updates on games, consoles, etc.), The Big N announced that a new Legend of Zelda game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS.
It’ll be based on the 2D, pixelated world of A Link to the Past, but it’ll be in 3D (naturally), have lots of stacked levels to take advantage of the extra dimension, feature an all new storyline and dungeons and, in an interesting twist, Link’ll be able to turn into a drawing and make his way along walls, allowing him all sorts of new movement options.
Excited much? Yeah, that’s me. It’s coming out this Christmas. Check out the Nintendo Direct video (there’s LOTS of other news, including an Animal Crossing: New Leaf special edition 3DS hardware bundle, but I’m starting it at the Zelda news) and these juicy screenshots for more. =) Bud
