This button could help make your bike route safer
A company called Hövding is trying out its new product on the streets of London.
They have created a button called Flic, which you can attach to your bike that directly emails the mayor when when you feel in danger on your route. The button connects via blue tooth to the Flic app on the cyclist’s phone and has access to their location services. That way, when pressed, the mayor can get the direct location of the hazard.
The thought behind this is to help ensure roads are bicycle friendly and enjoyable for everyone.
Could Victoria’s roads use a gadget like the Flic?
