Sooke Sole Patrol and Easter Seals
What is Easter Seals Camp Challenge all about? They say;
The Easter Seals Camp Challenge event is owned and operated by the British Columbia Lions Society for Children with Disabilities to raise funds to benefit the Society’s Easter Seals Camping Program for children with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.
If you want to see some of the heartwarming work they do, watch this video 😀
This year the event runs June 11/12th, and I just spoke with but two of, HUNDREDS, raising money with their teams/solo/etc, to help send kids to this wonderful place. The two in question are Susan and Nancy of Sooke Sole Patrol, of the Sooke Harbourside Lions Club.
Get to that duck race! The Sooke Harbourside Lions Club have raised over $100,000 the last twelve years. Just fantastic.
Thanks for stopping by,
