If you live in Saskatoon and you are a big ol’meany pants, you may soon be slapped with a fine.
The anti-bullying bylaw that is up for consideration prohibits taunting, name-calling, insulting, mocking, shunning, gossiping and rumour spreading in public.

If you participate in bullying, you could face a fine up to $300 for your first offence and fines could reach $2,500 for following offences.

This will apply to anyone over the age of 12 in public spaces and businesses such as bars, restaurants, parks, and schools.

The bylaw proposal will be up for consideration in Saskatoon on Monday, March 21.
