MILESTONE MAN: Defenceman Ryan Gagnon is nearing a franchise milestone, and has the opportunity to tie the mark on Saturday against Kamloops. Gagnon has played in 255 regular season games for Victoria (2012-17), and sits only two games away from tying Chilliwack Bruins alumni Jeff Einhorn for the most games played by a blueliner in franchise history at 257. Einhorn spent four seasons with the Bruins from 2007-2011 where he collected 30 points (8g-22a). Former Royal Brandon Magee holds the franchise mark for most games played with 318 (2010-15).

POTENT PENALTY KILL: Heading into this weekend’s match-up against the Kamloops Blazers, the Royals currently boast a perfect penalty kill.
