Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals will host the Saskatoon Blades tuesday night, the Swift Current Broncos on Friday and the US Division leading Everett Silvertips on Saturday. Friday’s contest is Country Night, while Saturday’s game is Marty the Marmot’s birthday.

ROAD TRIP RECAP: On Friday, Victoria defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 6-1 to complete their season-long road trip with a 4-2-0-0 record and outscored their opponents 21-13 in the process. The club’s powerplay went 6/25=24.0% through six contests on the road trip. Victoria’s Tyler Soy led the team with nine points (4g-5a), while Matthew Phillips and Jack Walker each tallied five goals and three assists during the road trip.

STREAKING SKATERS: Tomorrow, four Royals’ players will be looking to extend their scoring streaks. Dante Hannoun has registered six points (1g-5a) in his past six games. With four points (3g-1a) in his last game, Phillips has now recorded five goals and two assists in his last four contests. Jack Walker stretched his point streak to four contests where he has collected five points (2g-3a), while Jared Dmytriw has amassed four points (3g-1a) in his past four games.
