Today on Bud’s Weekly Geek-out . . . Microsoft jumped into the tablet arena with Surface, a 10.6″ tablet arriving in two flavours: the Windows RT mobile OS version (32 and 64 GB) this fall and the Windows 8 Pro version (64 or 128 GB) three months later.
Will it have an iPad-style folding cover-slash-stand? Nope. Its kickstand is built in to the unit. And its cover? It’s a cover-slash-3mm-keyboard.
Now, pardon Bud while he wipes up his drool and starts saving his pennies— er, nickels. =)
