Wounded Warrior Run BC Friday, February 20, 2015

Wounded Warrior Run BC is taking place from February 15 - 20; a team of 6 runners will run from Port Hardy to Victoria in 6 days covering over 600KM in an effort to bring awarness to retired and serving Canadian Armed Forces members affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

We will be hosting a fundraiser for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) at The Butchart Gardens. Tickets to this black tie event will include dinner, access to view The Gardens before and after the event until 10:00pm, music provided by a concert pianist as well as speeches throughout the evening.
The situations that MSF handles are extremely delicate, as they are often the first responders to any conflict worldwide. For more than 40 years, MSF have been providing medical help to people caught in many kinds of catastrophes, including armed conflicts, natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes, epidemics of disease and malnutrition crisis.

Mud Mulisha Mud Run

These obstacle course races are expertly designed to challenge all fitness levels! Participants can expect to climb, drag, crawl, push, pull and run their way along the course, and most certainly get covered in mud! At the end, there will be an ice cold beverage and an after party waiting for racers to celebrate and share their course stories.This year, choose from three different beautiful and unique locations/dates: Bear Mountain (Saturday, May 23), Mount Washington (Saturday, June 18), and Shawnigan Lake (Saturday, August 22).
