World Ocean’s Day kicked off Saturday, June 6 and if you couldn't make it out or you want to do it again, we'll be at Canada Day celebrations along the Gorge waterway. Come join in the fun.

Creatively United will be taking part with our giant reusable colouring wall from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Come and get creative and check out our ocean-themed cartoon book and newest colouring comic book.

For the third year in a row, Panorama Recreation will be offering a FREE opportunity for families to play together right here on the Peninsula! Taking place weekdays 5:30 - 8:30 pm in July. Each night, the Play in the Park staff will host interactive play, group games, and of course, inflatable fun on our giant 50’ obstacle course! The program will be offered at 7 different parks throughout Sidney, North Saanich and Central Saanich.

The 26th annual Victoria Symphony Splash takes place on Sunday, August 2th. Every year the Victoria Symphony performs for 45,000 people from a floating stage in Victoria’s picturesque Inner Harbour. Victoria Symphony Splash is expected to bring more than 45,000 people to the Inner Harbour and surrounding downtown area. Victoria Symphony Splash is a fundraiser to support the education and outreach programs of the Victoria Symphony. Suggested donation is $5 and will receive a commemorative pin to be worn to show support for the Victoria Symphony. We appreciate the support and cooperation of downtown business for this special event.

KinPark Kid’s Camp is a great opportunity for children, ages 6 - 12, to learn plenty about gardening, and farming, while making long lasting memories and friendships. Our focus is on education about planting, growing, cooking, and of course eating local food at our KinPark Youth Urban Farm located in downtown Duncan. Aside from gardening, planting seeds, harvesting crops, and cooking, other activities at the urban farm include yoga, sports, games, and crafts, as well as swimming at the Cowichan Aquatic Centre.
