UVic's Centre on Aging will be holding a FREE Diabetes Self-Management Program Mondays, 1 pm to 3:30 pm, starting April 16 for 6 weeks at the Canadian Diabetes Association office 276-2950 Douglas St. Call 1-866-902-3767.

This is an annual event held by Esquimalt High School's very own EYCI (Esquimalt Youth Combating Intolerance) club! There will be 15-20 students, staff, and community members cycling around our 400 metre track for 12 hours! This event will be raising funds for a newly established transition house for women called 'HerWay Home'. From 7 am to 7 pm, come out and cheer on our riders! BI Health Centre and Front Runners are hosting the 10k and 5k run/walk in support of the Mustard Seed and Goldstream Food Banks.
