Bio

Evan Miller and Aleisha Kalina walked the same small-town high school halls long before they ever started making music together. Although they missed each other on the graduation stage by four years, fate couldn’t keep “The Wild Romantics” apart. A chance meeting during solo performances sparked an undeniable chemistry and it wasn’t long before the two began sharing songs together, something they had never done with anyone else. Their voices harmonize just as well as they do and tell a story of two young lovers finding comfort and solace in each other and in the gift of creating music. “It’s true, I’d rather be scared with you…” they whisper in ‘Your Bright Eyes Keep Me Awake’ from their debut EP. A more fitting lyric for this duo can’t be found.

Armed with energetic rock n’ roll hooks, haunting lyrics and harmonies, their music has drawn comparisons to the playful, intimate country/folk of Johnny Cash and June Carter and the energetic, southern driven rock n’ roll in the spirit of The White Stripes. The Wild Romantics put immense value on being able to share their stories of love, life, loss and learning by taking their own experiences and creating stories that audiences relate to and can take home with them.

Although the band only formed in 2013, they have already stunned audiences with their passionate performances. They have already shared the stage with bands such as Wake Owl, Head of the Herd, We Are The City, Good for Grapes and were accepted into The Peak Performance Project 2014 Top 12 Finalists. Their debut EP “She Could Tell” is available now.
