My Turn

My Turn
There's lots of stuff on The Zone @ 91-3. Music, information, rock stars, contests . . . The one thing which could be missing is you.

Every Friday night at 7:00 pm, The Zone gives you My Turn, an hour-long radio show presented by a guest DJ. We'll turn the controls over to rock stars, local personalities and Zoners just like you. They'll get to pick the music, learn how to push the buttons and talk on the radio!

Want to have your turn? Apply now!

It's all brought to you by the Victoria School of Business and Technology - the experience is your education. Pick up a My Turn application there (301-771 Vernon Ave)!

This week, join Brandon Williams from Wild Play Element Parksfor My Turn! She has some great stories of her outdoor adventures, some great tunes to set them to, and you can hear it all this Friday, February 5 at 7:00 pm, only on The Zone!

The Zone Afternoon Show's Tea Time

The Zone Afternoon Show's Tea Time
If it seems a fortnight's passed since you've 'eard a smashing bit of jolly old England, don't get your knickers in a knot! Kick off those manky old trainers and nip on over to your wireless for The Zone's Tea Time.

Sit a spell each weekday at 3:00 pm to hear a different song from the great UK whilst enjoying your tea and a slice. Only the smashing stuff. Nothin' dodgy in the least.

In Canadian, every day at 3:00 pm, listen for a wicked rock song from a Brit rocker, covering everything from The Clash to the Sex Pistols to Muse or The Libertines.

The lot of it's brought to you by Café Mulatta - contemporary cuisine with global influences.

Number Ones

Number Ones
Weekday afternoons at 5:00 pm, Jeremy Baker starts your drive home with four songs that have made it to number one on the charts.

True, this could be a number one from a Danish radio station in 1992, but we'll mostly keep it to the big'uns.

Number Ones is brought to you by the fine folks at Sauce Restaurant and Lounge, Spend the night at Sauce...see us for seafood summer.

To explore those islands would take a pirate . . .
