Android smartphone/tablet users have had Google Now on their devices for a while, but it released as an app for iPhone/iPad users.
Google Now is a text- or voice-activated personal assistant, kinda like Apple’s Siri. You can ask it for the weather, latest news, sports scores, directions, etc.
If I say, “Navigate home” to my phone, and it goes into car mode and starts me on turn-by-turn directions to Geeky HQ.
So, if you have an iPhone or an iPad, and want to see if Google Now can give Siri a run for its money, give ‘er a try now! =) Bud
